Individual Therapy That Helps You Feel Like Yourself Again
One-on-one support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and life's challenges. A safe space to heal, grow, and become the person you want to be.
Sometimes You Just Need Someone in Your Corner
Maybe you're exhausted from pretending everything is fine. Maybe anxiety has become your constant companion, or depression has made even small tasks feel impossible.
Or maybe you're going through something hard—a breakup, a job loss, grief, or just this nagging feeling that life isn't what you want it to be.
At South Denver Therapy, individual counseling is provided by Carissa Keeter, LCSW. She works with adults and teens dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and those "I don't even know what's wrong but something feels off" feelings. Our practice is LGBTQ+ affirming—everyone is welcome here.
Common Reasons People Seek Individual Therapy
You don't need a "big" reason to start therapy. If something feels off, that's reason enough.
Anxiety
Constant worry, racing thoughts, that tight feeling in your chest. Therapy helps you understand your triggers and find calm again.
Learn more →Depression
Feeling empty, unmotivated, or hopeless. We help you understand whats going on and find your way back to feeling like yourself.
Learn more →Trauma & PTSD
Past experiences still affecting you today. We use EMDR and other approaches to help you process and heal without reliving it. We also offer specialized support for veterans and first responders.
Learn more →Grief & Loss
Losing someone you love changes everything. Therapy provides space to grieve, process, and eventually find your footing again.
Learn more →Life Transitions
New job, divorce, relocation, becoming a parent. Big changes are hard—even good ones. We help you adjust and thrive.
Self-Esteem & Identity
That voice saying you're not good enough? We can work on that. Build confidence and learn to see yourself clearly.
