Sometimes You Just Need Someone in Your Corner

Maybe you're exhausted from pretending everything is fine. Maybe anxiety has become your constant companion, or depression has made even small tasks feel impossible.

Or maybe you're going through something hard—a breakup, a job loss, grief, or just this nagging feeling that life isn't what you want it to be.

Individual therapy gives you a space where you don't have to perform or explain yourself. Just show up as you are.

At South Denver Therapy, individual counseling is provided by Carissa Keeter, LCSW. She works with adults and teens dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and those "I don't even know what's wrong but something feels off" feelings. Our practice is LGBTQ+ affirming—everyone is welcome here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?
We're a private-pay practice and don't bill insurance directly. This gives us flexibility to provide the best care without insurance restrictions. We accept HSA/FSA cards and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. Check our FAQs page for a tool to see what your insurance might cover.
How long does therapy take?
It really depends on what you're working through. Some people feel better after 5-10 sessions. Others benefit from longer-term support. We'll check in regularly about your progress and adjust as needed.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! We offer individual therapy both in-person at our Castle Rock office and via secure video throughout Colorado. Many of our clients prefer the flexibility of online therapy—you can attend sessions from home, your car, or wherever you feel comfortable. Virtual sessions are just as effective as in-person for most people.
Is therapy confidential?
Absolutely. Everything you share stays private and is protected by law. There are only rare exceptions (like imminent safety risks). You can be completely honest without worrying about it going anywhere.
